Just a Little Closer
Well, I made it though my last full day of teaching. One more week of finals and then the getting ready really starts . . . how am I going to pack for this. People keep asking what I am going to bring, and I have no clue. It cost about $400 dollars to ship a 40 pound package (about a large suitcase full of clothing) so the shipping thing isn’t really an option, but neither is bringing an extra suitcase. We both already will have one large suitcase, one little one, and a backpack each. That combination will be hard enough to drag around the Japan Rail trains before moving into our apartment in Shanghai. This is going to insanely hard (I guess there could be worse things in life); I am really attached to my clothes, even if they are generally the same item in a bunch of different colors (if not the same color : )
If anyone has any suggestions let me know.

Your blog looks pretty sweet; you make it sound like teaching us is hell, haha.
I have a question: For suitcases, don’t they have a limit on weight and stuff? Although you probably know more on this than me, haha. I just know that from here to Beijing I get X amount of pounds and from Beijing to Shanghai I get a lot less so I can’t bring too much ):
You could have a shipbwongsclothes fund and raise money from your LA classes. ($100=A+ on final)
